![]() I suggest making a full Boot Camp partition backup beforehand, just in case. Just take note of the used space on your C: drive first in Windows Explorer by right-clicking on C: and selecting "Properties" beforehand, so you can see how much space the script reclaimed. With this script I can reduce the used disk space in my Windows partition to less than 40 GB with my essential apps installed, which is pretty great if you ask me! Windows leaves tons of unnecessary files around, especially when updating. bat file somewhere on your computer (see below for usage instructions). I've searched for various solutions to keep it in check size-wise and ended up writing a little script to run them all at once, to clean as much stuff up as possible. ![]() I have a 180 GB partition for Windows on my MBP (I'm trying to keep the Boot Camp partition as small as possible without being too constraining).
